Leanne Coverley - Principal

Diploma in Dance Education.

Leanne started dancing from a very young age and always knew she wanted to be a dance teacher. Her passion for teaching led to her attending The Centre Performing Arts College, London where she spent 3 years professionally training. Upon graduating from dance college Leanne began teaching at Langley School of Dance before becoming principal in 2010. Leanne is very passionate about teaching and has a real love for helping all her students realise their aspirations.

Holly Dedman

Holly started dancing at the tender age of 3. Throughout her younger years Holly performed in pantomimes and was also apart of the West End Show Billy Elliot. 

After finishing school Holly attended The Centre Performing Arts College where she graduated with a dance diploma and her DDI teaching qualifications. After college Holly taught dance on the cruise line ‘Star Cruises’, she now enjoys teaching for Langley School of Dance. Holly takes great pride in her pupils and their progress and loves teaching for Langley School of Dance.  

Emily Irving

Emily started dancing from the age of 10 at Dance Act Theatre School. Throughout her time at Dance Act she performed at many prestigious venues including Disneyland Paris, Her Majesty’s Theatre & the Royal Albert Hall. Emily went on to then attend The Centre Performing Arts College where she graduated with a diploma in Dance & her DDE teaching qualifications. Emily is very passionate about teaching and loves working with the students at Langley School of Dance whilst also being a mummy to her little boy called Charlie. 

Charlie Steggles

Charlie started dancing from the age of 4 with Starquest Performing Arts School, studying Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical theatre. Her performing career started early, regularly appearing in pantomimes and performances at the Central Theatre Chatham and competing in Dance competitions and festivals throughout the south east. Her continued love for dance lead her to study Advanced Dance at the Miskin Theatre from 2001-2004 obtaining a BTEC national diploma and PDC with distinctions. Professionally Charlie has worked in Cabaret and Showteams, over five years travelling across the Mediterranean and Europe. On returning back to the UK she gained her ISTD DDI and embarked on a teaching career teaching Ballet, Tap, Modern, Street and Musical Theatre for many prestigious schools in Kent including being principal of her own school for 5 years. More recently Charlie has enjoyed teaching for Langley School of Dance for the last 2 years and being a Mum to Sullivan and Roxie.

Sophie Tyndall

Sophie started dancing at 5 years old and trained at Sara Phillips School of Dance. Then continued into full time training at The Centre Performing Arts College which is where she studied Ballet, Tap, Modern, Contemporary, Hip hop, Musical Theatre and Singing as well as many other dance styles. She also gained her teacher training DDI certificates in Ballet, Tap and Modern whilst at the college.
 
Sophie has recently got back from working abroad for Live Business as a Singer in Europe, and has also appeared in Aladdin at The Churchill Theatre as a dancer and understudy Slave of the Ring, as well as appearing in Sleeping Beauty where she understudied and played Princess Aurora. Whilst still in college Sophie played the role of Vicious Punk and understudied Rita in Lucky Stiff at The Lillian Bayliss at Sadlers Wells, aswell as playing Mary Magdalene in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar.
 
As a child Sophie had the opportunity to perform at Her Majestys Theate, The Royal Albert Hall and Sadlers Wells, with her dance school, this gave her the passion for performing.
 
From the age of 13 Sophie was an assistant Ballet teacher at her dance school and helped every Saturday morning teaching the younger children, this gave her a love of teaching which she has continued throughout her training and whenever not performing.
 

All teachers have are qualified through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and have full DBS checks as well as the relevant public liability insurance.
